Hello I am Sarah, my husband and I have just bought a three bed first floor on thallassa beach. So glad to have foud this forum, nice to know that we can all keep each other informed. I live in South Cyprus at the min so will be making regular trips to observe progress and ask many questions ha ha. hope to speak to you all soon. x

Hi Sarah - check out the previous threds re Thalassa -Stu Simpson has set up an offline list of buyers so that we can keep each other informed and with you being so close it would be great to have insider info !!!

Also you can find out who your neighbours will be before its even built.

Excellent, i would love to, my e mail is sarahblu@hotmail.co.uk, going on 14th july, will be in nc for one week whilst based in episkopi for next three years and plan to do many trips up north ( although slightly worried about the whole car vandalism etc, we will see!!!) Hello,

We are thinking ofbuying in Thalassa complex. I have heard different estimates re completion dates, ranging from 09 to '10. Does anyone have an update on likely completion date.



Also, can anyone who has visited the site (we are hoping to go there quite soon) advise how Thalassa compares to Turtle Bay. Is it certain that there can be no further development in front of apts. on both sites? Is the pre-74 title deed completely safe?



Are Savills negotiable? What are your thoughts on the rental package deal?

This weather is making me extra keen to buy soonest. Hence dilemma of T.Bay versus Thalassa!

Hi sunnygirl and welcome to the forum. My boyfriend and I visited NC with Savills in July 07. To cut a long story short - we decided against buying at Thalassa simply because of completion dates. We bought a villa on a different complex (Sweetwater Bay) - Just to let you know that we visited Turtle Bay - and this is only a personal thought - but Thalassa knocks socks off Turtle Bay. Hope this helps. I am sure that other purchasers at Thalassa will come along soon and assist you.

Hi - - we have purchased at Thalassa and are Block 9 with expected completion date around April 2010 - Apartments are beach front so no chance of build there and at the side is a nature reserve - land on which so far no-one has been allowed to build but there are never any guarantees. However if you look at the proposed development plan for the Bafra region there is nothing on the reserve. I am rubbish at links so would suggest that you google search bafra and you should get to see the plan. Title deeds safe 100% not sure about the rental deal as we opted not to do it as want the apt just for family and friends. Both sites will be great - Thalassa being marketed as top end of the market hence price difference etc. Hope this helps
