Looks like there might be a bit of censoring going on. Go on to http://www.defilter.co.uk and then for web address type in http://www.facebook.com. You may have to log in to facebook twice but it does work

Having tried this, have to say there is not much you can do beyond viewing. Can anyone suggest a better filter? I'm sure Hans can.

I need my facebook..It keeps me in contact with all at home..My daughter said that i did not seem so far away once i got back here and got started again.!! and i have some nice friend request that i want to reply too also..I have relatives in USA too.Facebook is great i cant live without it..:( :(((

Had Facebook up briefly just a bit ago but has died again and cannot even get to it "Problem Loading Page"



I love my Facebook too! I play Lexulous (Scrabble) with my kids in USA and with friends in Saudi and Australia!

Simbas, If you mean on Facebook where they 'suggest' to invite a friend, I thought this is because somehow they have your contacts from your email address as I to have a friend who keeps coming up who died a year ago and I never contacted this person through facebook nor they with me, otherwise how would they know we 'knew' each other?? Hope this makes sense!!

Hi Simbas..do not worry as only people you invite can see your details and postings,so just do not invite stranger on who you do not know,just because they may say 3 people you know,you may like to invite,do not if you dont know them or want them on...Just keep posting..good luck..

Hi Simbas, I am not sure..all I know is that someone I knew who sadly died a year ago (young man, 20) appears as someone I may like to invite. I can only presume that no one has cancelled his email address....How does one do this if you do not know there password? Mrs S

Facebook working OK yesterday & today.



I think Facebook automaticlly sends invites, if two people are friends,

it seems to search for contacts that might know each other.



I've had invites from someone I would NEVER talk to,

promptly deleted their invite.



In your home page,

Under "Connect with friends" (top right)

click on "friend finder"

this will show who you might know,

not many you will though.



There might not be something sinister about this invite.

Best bet is to contact Facebook direct,

see what they have to say.

Any email or other account will only be able to be cancelled by the account holder,

same as in banks etc,

This may be an automated contact invite.

I would just delete it.



I had a friend who I met through a genealogy site,

who all of a sudden stopped contacting me,

app 5 years ago, don't know what happened.



My wife's mother still gets mail for her daughter, who died 9 years ago.

Very distressing.



Suggest you delete the invite and forget.
