Hi all

Can anyone suggest the best place to buy barbecues (not stone built in ones) - i just havent found that many places that sell them and those that do the prices seem a bit questionable. Any suggestions?

Thanks Is it something we can bring over the boarder or is this another item that comes under household and not personal? Any ideas?

I would not worry, as they have relaxed procedures at the border yet again. If its small enough to fit in the boot then no problems I would say.

however, there are places in north that you can get them, which would be preferable for the economy and all, but I can't think of any names at the mo!

Hi mishmash,

I bought my gaz BBQ in Karakum at Aladins cave. There are about 3 shops altogether that sell them. They are not cheap in TRNC but you can find them.

From Girne going towards Catalkoy the shops are about 1 mile past the Girne Lemar on the right hand side of the road. There is another shop called Housewares that is in Catalkoy where I have seen them. Hope this helps

I think newlad means Tin Pan Alley. Its down the hill from the big TV in Girne, 2nd on the left off the high street.
