Do any come with built in DE-HUMIDIFERS to take moisture out of the air? if so, do they all do this or just specific models?

I also have a question about AC units... can someone give me a rough idea of the cost of moving an AC unit from one place to another - I believe wiring is already in place... also... the basic cost of providing and fitting a 9000Btu unit.

Hope you don't mind me hijacking Stewart!! Just thought it seemed daft to start a new post!

Ta!

Anything about AC units: call "Iceman" (Mustafa in Girne) and meet a honest man for your job: 05338610329. Recommended - as high as the Kyrenia mountains.

Stewart,

Look for the teardrop picture on your air conditioning unit remote controller. If there is one, that's the de-humidifier mode. We have Chigo units fitted by our builder and they all have it and I can confirm it definitely works. Ours works best by putting the temperature to the minimum which ensure it stays on, downside is that it makes the room very cold. Don't forget to close all the windows and doors to make sure it works effectively.

Hi Stewart,

All the units in our house should have a de-humidirier setting,

check your owners manual for settings.

Good luck

Hi spanna.

I got Fazo1 to remove a unit from our living room and put it in a bedroom,

fitted a larger unit in living room.

No problems at all, and working very well.

The main thing to do is check the size of the room,

then fit a suitable unit, not all units fitted are suitable for the room they're fitted in :-0

The units I use are Fujicool, which is a Japanese designed unit, made in China. I think it's the best of a bad bunch and although there are cheaper units about, I wouldn't put my name to them.
