There are at the moment around 250 different CD-R brands on the market but there are ONLY about 16 manufacturers

making all these CD-R's. So when buying CD-R's it's wise to check the factory where they are from, especially with the flood of NoName CD-R's which are usually of lesser quality as they have to be cheap.
