Although exiled many years ago, part Greek and Danish.

And at such times of the Greece EU monatary turmoil.

Since 1974 and before his statuesque stature, he has been a wisdom of silence.

Prince Philip (actually Philippos) was born at the Villa Mon Repos on the Greek island of Corfu on 10 June 1921, the only son and fifth and final child of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice of Battenberg, and as such is a member of The House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.

He's putting his foot in it ever since.

Met him three times and that is twenty seven times to many!

My fondest memory is a (live) TV presentation of a large silver salver from Tommy Cooper. Tommy performed his unique magic trick of placing a cover over the salver and then thumping it with a large hammer, said his normal mumbo jumbo magic words and whipped of the cover - just like that! Whoops!!!! Very large dent in salver (not supposed to be there), very glum face on Prince P, very ashamed face on Tommy C and much confusion all round. Apparently the real salver was supposed to be kept under the table but the crew forgot and left Tommy to wallop the real one! Can still remember the look on Prince P's face and it was worth a fortune!!!!

I know I shouldn't but he makes me roar with laughter...he is so un pc...that has to go in his favour, I have never been a royalist and never will be...Diana (murdered) and her sons are the only real people in that family.

Kings & Queens and Princes & Princesses: get rid of these descendants of robbers and usurpers. Study (their) history - and understand your own time in history - but don't proloungue medieval circumstances.

P.S. This post is not against the British royal family - it's against *all* royal families who can only claim birth right. Absolutely wrong. That's why I am a fervent republican. Any position in live should be based on capabilities, not on cradles.
