May I kindly suggest to keep this thread friendly? It's often too easy on this board to write one-liners without knowing some or all the facts. In a former life I was taught "Check and double-check before you write it" - in my opinion it was and is a good advise.

Hans I am not going to get into an arguement over this with you although it is a little condecending coming from someone when they themselves cause upset at times especially when some are trying to set up ther rescue dog site but there we are. You do confuse me sometimes as one minute oyu can e be so helpful and other times 'very oddly'



However, this is about Jazz, Mindy you do not have to go into personal details but it may help as in message 17 now everyone knows that there is reason for you wanting to re-home a dog, rather than 'just because' - there are may dogs needing homes, but the urgency of it may help more if explained !



I do wish you well in finding Jazz a good home as she looks a lovely dog

=> Neither will I. This is about someone who tries hard to find a good home for her dog "Jazz". I accept that she must have good (private) reasons to use this board. I did say right from the off that it was for very personal reasons that I asked the forum members for help.

It is with a very heavy heart that I do this. I realise now I should not have given in to a plea for a home for a discarded puppy left in a cardboard box but I did. None of us know what is round the next corner but I now find myself in this situation of trying to get a loving home for Jazz, and now I will not go into my circumstances anymore than that.

As for Hans, he has been so wonderful and kind by helping me with pictures and trying to re-home Jazz on this forum. To me that counts for a lot. So please try and be a little more thoughtful.

I have put the posters up in Pertev's & Ferdez (vets), Green Garden Centre & Hos Bes.



I was unable to put one up at the BRS behind the post office as they were closed and they do not have an outside notice board. I will pop back on saturday morning when they are open.



Fingers and everything else crossed.

Mindy i am so sorry you have not found a home for your little dog as yet and hpoe and pray you do very soon,have you got a plan or option it you cant,Because i belive no so long ago there was a threat the same with regards to a cyprus poodle.and he also was very sweet,and just a while after hay presto.!! along to us came a very lonely dirty bedragled looking chap..very hungry and lost..I am not in the least thinking you may do the same.but it seems to me that the owner of our now muched loved Buster just up and left him..thank god hes happy now.Please what plans might you put into motion if this pleading does not work,will he leave with you..Oh and yes thanks Hans for all your help with photos..come on someone please let this little chap pull at your heart strings...

Thankyou for your kind words, please be assured that putting Jazz on the street after I go is definitely not an option, she will be looked after but this can be only temporary until a home is found, I am under daily pressure to re-home her, and as I said before without going into personal details the situation is very fragile. I just hope something or someone turns up.

Hi Mindy,



As i have posted on a previous post of a similar nature, there is an animal shelter in the Lefkosa industrial estate ( Saniyi Bolgesi) they are on the same road as the customs offices, it is a small enterance so you need to keep your eyes peeled. They have been known to take in dogs and re-home them, you could try taking the lovely Jazz there. Unfortunatly i do not have a phone number for them.



Good luck and i hope you can find a solution for Jazz soon.

Can I just say a big thank you for all the kind people that helped in ways to re-home Jazz my 5 ish month old bitch. Especially a big thankyou to Puppy Lover (Judy) she has got a heart of gold, and is still trying all avenues at this late stage. Also thankyou to all who have displayed posters of her and a very big thank you to Rescueuskyrenia.com for putting Jazz on their Webpage.
