Firstly I apologise if anyone has already posted about this, I have had a scan through previous posts and can’t find anything, but then there are so many to search through…….

Anyway, I have been told that the government it going to repair walls damaged by the recent flooding, does anyone know who to contact for this, does it only apply to people with no insurance or those with also?

Has anyone got anywhere with these claims and when do they think work can start?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks

Chezzi

Does that mean that at last the government is going to do something about the Amaranta site??? I should imagine that many of the structures there would have collapsed.

I have been told by my builder who was going to repair the damage up until they found out about this government scheme! But I am not convinced!

Why was your builder going to do the repair and was he going to charge you?

Hi chezzi,

Isn't your builder lucky then, that the gov. will repair the wall at no cost to him?

I thought that this claim on the government was to help the local Belediyes repair or renew "public" walls not individuals? Public road-side walls etc etc? Sounds too good to be true if they will fix anyone's walls!! But fingers crossed..........
