Just a remeinder for those who like F1 that you can get F1 practice, qualie, race, post race forums and reruns by going to channel 503 ( BBC News 24) and selecting the red button

Sports interactive is always available on 3001

You 'only' need a 1.8m dish and any SKY box - don't need a card

Mark - you spoil sport.

I thought for a moment that you had found a way that we could offer free tickets to our clients going on our tours for the GP F1 in Istanbul this year.

Dear m x6,

Been told off by AJ for posting F1 gossip in the wrong thread. Obviously he is not the fan.

So I move it here .

Re: Msg 29,

Oh yes +

- The GOD is not happy with the new car;

- New points system was called "a joke" by Gerhard Berger, Mark Webber and Norbert Haug supported him;

- FIA questioned the legality of McLaren's rear wing;

- Ferrari "adore" Alonso;

- Little God (Hamilton) is not happy that J. Button does not want to be No2, but will fight him as an equal....

and so goes on....

And finally to cheer you up, new blockbuster starring the God (contains extreme violence!)

Oh I am a big fan but I was suggesting that you will have a far bigger audience if you start or post on a thread about F1 as opposed to changing the topic of an existing non F1 thread.

If he gets the car then it has to be Hamilton . Webber had a great end to the season and will be a threat . Alonso was very disappointing last season and has plenty to proves this year .As for Mr Schu..... a few podium finishes maybe....

Re: Msg 7&10,

Dear m x6,

"I note Massa / Webber aren't 'murdered' ... in the vid :o ! "

Poor Felipe does not have to be "murdered", he is miserable enough at the moment. He almost lost his place in Ferrari, when the God had said that he wanted to join Ferrari. Then the God demanded the third Ferrari car!

And now he is completely eclipsed by Alonso! I feel sorry for darling Felipe.

"So who do you think will be the winner this year?"

Alonso for me (heart and head ) - the best driver in the world for the moment (apart from the God, of course !!!).

Pssst......More gossip!

Guess who has "shopped" McLaren to FIA about the illegal wing? I thought that it was usual suspect. But it turned out to be Red Bull.

Martin Whitmarsh said that it is not illegal, just different and innovative ! Good boy!

And finally, the one that made me laugh. The God said today that he is "fresher than ever" and feels like on the Christmas eve! And he is happier now with the car's aerodynamics (does it mean Mercedes has smuggled in new triple diffusers?) !!!!

Re: Msg 23&24,

Interesting, McLaren has just announced that after the test results the No 1 seat goes to Jenson Button!!!

Hamilton's reaction was somehow funny: " I can not believe how quickly time goes by. It was Christmas 2008 only a moment ago, and now it is Bahrain already" (!!!!!!!!!!!)

Perhaps Lewis was too busy sorting his harem to notice anything else.

Another interesting thing, he has fired his father as his manager. OK, I accept that he been told long time ago that his father is out of his depth in this role. But it is the timing!!! He has fired him after his reunion with his latest bimbette. His comment was that one does not want his father to be on his back at all times! When approached by F1 magazine for the explanation of the decision and the timing both Hamiltons refused to comment. Hmm.

Massa has made unfortunate comment today. When asked, who is going to win this season , he has said Michael Schumacher!!!!! ( It's a hoot!!!!!!!)

Although we'd all love to believe that it's all down to the drivers, for the most part the car's the star for me.

Get a competitive car with good reliability and they will be there or there about. If it's driven by a driver whose stars are in the ascendancy and they are sure fire winners.

I fancy McLaren to show well, whether that's JB or LH we'll see.

"Mind you,I aggree with Massa."

So do I, so does Nigel Mansel ( in today's interview to Radio5). It is very strong possibility with Schumi being the greatest driver in the world (since the death of Ayrton Senna).

But Massa drives for FERRARI , not Mercedes, and is NOT supposed to say that another team will win!!! But he is well known for slips of the tongue.

Several days to go. Let the battle commence!

Re: Msg 29,

Dear rigsby,

Mercedes motorsport boss Norbert Haug has warned that it is unlikely that they'll be on podium for the first few races of the season. He told German newspaper :"I do not see us as the favourites for the first race, but we are on the right path to be able to challenge at the top".

But fans remained unperturbed. The vote shows they still have "a faith" in GOD and think that Norbie just being "modest"!

He-he-he!

The troll gone mad long time ago! Time for him to retire and sit somewhere under the palm tree.

After saying that Hockenheim ( new circuit ) is not good enough for F1 cars , has he seen the streets of Rome ! They are good only for CHARIOTS!

Wait until he rolls in Moscow GP ( promised to Putin years ago!)

He is also in a pickle with Istanbul GP, despite him promoting it , it is under-performing as it only attracted 36,000 audience. He asked Turkish government for additional funds. I think we all know the answer.

Dear Clarissa

I will follow Mr Petrov's exploits with interest, but I don't think Renault are going to be serious challengers despite their Lada money ;)

BTW how the heck can a (realistically) bankrupt company afford to sponsor an F1 team !?

Mrs MMMMMM received her flowers ( and a card thanking her for being an international lady !) and chose to spend the evening in the company of five other Russian speaking ladies ! ;)

Rigsby: I note that not one of the BBC's F1 pundits went for 'God' to be champion... naturally David Coulthard has gone for Vettel driving a Red bull to the driver's and constructors title .......

Seems like The Ferraris ( in the hands of Alonso) are the class of the field with Brawn ( ooops Mercedes) and Red Bull THEN Maclaren... in the Bahrain speed stakes..

Jenson nearly a SECOND behind Alonso... ouch... Lewis couldn't even try the soft tyres as a problem found with a front hub...

Roll on qualifying...

You might be in the win yet : for the season Schumi stands 6-1, with Alonso (my bet) only 11-4. And this is in the UK. In Germany they are even more optimistic and saying that no one expected top results from the very beginning. God will be back!

P.S. My neighbour is already bidding for the signed silver cap. ( She is the proud owner of Ferrari red one, as well as the book and framed picture - all signed by God!!!)

This is a List of Formula One broadcasters and 'World Feed' producers...

If you can't watch it on satellite TV, you could try a live feed.

Our company at Heathrow fuels a lot of the private aircraft and whenever an F1 driver flew in I would meet them off the aircraft.

I have Nelson Piquet's Brazilian Pit Pass, 'T' shirts from Clay Regazzoni and Jean Alessi plus a few autographs and posters.

I just hope today it's not going to be a procession. Those Red Bulls seem awfully quick and I don't like Vettel.

Thanks all to those so called TV buffs, via what ever system they are earning a buck out of, who cannot answer a simple question; F1 is shown on TRT 1 Terrestrial Turkish TV. God for bid that those satellite operators or their sycophantic promoters should admit that F1 is available on 'normal' TV for free! Cheers

How helpful you really are!

For the 'hard of hearing NZ grump'.. I wasn't aware the BBC were charging... ... AND they broadcast in English... with guys who've actually DRIVEN in / owned F1 cars / teams...

seems you may have aimed your 'bazooka' at the wrong target...

Oh, I hear that's a regular occurrence ... ;)

My bet on Alonso looking good.. sadly my worry about processions, too .. BAN the diffusers, make more compulsory pit stops and make the tyres go off quicker ... otherwise this season will be BORING

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It might just surprise you that some TV viewers actually live in the TRNC and do not have access to the BBC or your promoted satellite system!

Msg 66

Given that one has a sky box and dish connected correctly in the TRNC, BBC1 is an automatic channel on their service! My only question to

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

was what Turkish channel was showing F1, which he refused to answer!

re msg 69

just so you know

1/ When you ask about 'Dodgyturk' channels - I'm NOT the man to ask.. I'm only an 'expert' on them - re techie stuff..not what channels are what ..

2/ I didn't realise you were specifically addressing me.. you asked, >> Does anyone know<< - if I did, I'd have answered.. YES ? ;)

3/ I'm 'promoting' watching F1 for free in English.. not Turkish ;)... I'm not selling in 'TRNC', remember... Most folk would buy a SKY receiver in the UK..

May be I SHOULD advertise ...
