There is a Tea Dance held every first and third Thursday of the month at Chateau Lambousa, Lapta. On a Sunday evening there is the Sunday Dance Club at the Chateau, where tuition is given followed by General dancing. Beginners from 7.00 to 7.45 followed by Improvers from 7.45 to 8.30 followed by General Dancing. Dances taught are Waltz, Quickstep, Social Rhythm, Slow Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha and Jive. Please call Grahame on 0533 843 3554 should you need further information.

Thank you so much, just a couple of queries can anyone join the classes at any point or are there start dates? what is the costings? Sounds like you could have a good night of it on a Sunday beginner in one dance, improver in another and then a good old dance after.

Yes the group does have fun on a Sunday. The charge for a 4 week session is 50tl per person. At the end of 4 weeks, you should be able to get round the dance floor performing the dance taught. Can I mention that if you are ill during the period, extra tuition is given to compensate. The aim is to help you to dance, with confidence, so you can enjoy your dancing. A new session was started yesterday, but if you come on Sunday "catch up" tuition can be given. Please call Grahame on 0533 843 3554 should you need further information.

Grahame, a few questions for you (and to help with your 'plugging'!) £6 per head seems expensive. Is it 50TL per person or couple and is that for the whole night regardless whether you go for just the social dancing or say improvers + social dancing? And, is there a separate tariff if you just want to do social dancing? Also, how much do you cover in just 4 lessons. Is it 4 lessons for one dance or do you cover a little of each over the 4 lessons. And if eg, you concentrate on just waltz, how many figures would we learn in 4 weeks? And, does the social dancing follow straight after the improvers or is there a break, and what time does the night finish? Sorry to bombard with questions, but how many people are there usually there for the lessons and for the social night afterwards? And finally (definitely the last!), if we turn up next week, do we have to pay for the whole course that night or do you just pay for the number of weeks left in the course? Many thanks
