Can someone tell me the procedure and pitfalls of buyin a car in TRNC, or is just a case of turning up with the money? My friend in Turkey said he had a real run around for three days as a expat buying a car.

Type Tiga into the search bar and it should come up with all the info.

there are quite a few people selling cars on here at the moment in the for sale section ( me included for a friend ) you purchase the car and take the log book to Nicosia where you pay 250 tl to have the book changed into your name . Hope that helps

Thanks again for the info, sorry about the assumption!! Great to know but they have nothing in my price range at the moment.
