Eastern Turkey has suffered an earthquake measuring 6.0 38 people are believed dead and approx 60 injured and taken to hospital.



Makes me wonder where is next to get hit???

Cyprus has been hit by heavy earthquakes several times in the past 2000 years (and probably before) - the witnesses are still visible in our time: tumbled down minarets, built by the Ottoman Turks on former Lusignan and Venetian churches, and cracks in walls. I'm not especially interested to see how earthquake-proof the assurances of our modern Cyprus builders are...
