has anyone in the Karsiyaka area had a delivery by the "postman" yet ? i was told at the post office that we didnt need our P.O box anymore as we will be having mail delivered to the house if we have a letter box ( we do ) and house number ( we do ) ....i gave out address to friends and family ages ago and know that they have sent back ..but havent got any thing ...any idea whats happening ?

We also live in Karsiyaka and have had several postal deliveries to our house including 2 Christmas cards delivered on Christmas day, one from the UK and the other from Australia.



Last week my husband had birthday cards delivered from the UK.



I always ask people to send any post in a brown envelope and we have seemed to have received everything that we have been told to expect.

Also had a few bits of post Christmas cards and letters.

I was also advised to use the brown envelope route

Had Important documents sent from UK used DHL Tracked it,arrived in Ercan Airport the following day.

Some days later it was signed out from Ercan by someone.From there it took over a week to track it down with daily phone calls to Lefcosa. In the end we had to collect it ourselves Nightmare!!!

Had mail delivered regularly for last 12 months by this mail man.



Always has a smile and a good word.



Even had christmas cards which is a first in 4 years!!!!
