The builders association are holding a demo tomorrow starting at Gonyeli Roundabout at 09.00.



Although we hate builders there aims are the same as ours to get some justice and reform of regulations from the government. HBPG are joining the demo for that reason in hope that the government will be forced to change things soon.



This is short notice but any support is appreciated.

We joined this protest this morning, it was attended by over 200 vehicles driving from all over TRNC eventually ending at Prime Ministers Office. There was everthing from cars to pick ups, JCB's, Cement Mixer wagons, tipper trucks and articulated low loaders. A real sight to see.



We were welcomed by the boss of builders organisation at Gonyeli and he was pleased to see the four of us in our 2 cars.



Unfortunatley we did not get to see the deputation go into PM's building because a low loader in front of our group was not low enough to allow its load to go under electric cables so we got delayed!



It is a shame that the builders boss had offered to send a sizeable deputation along on any protest the HBPG decided to hold, after today I think there will be a fat chance of that happening.



For the four of us we had an enjoyable day out with loads of chat followed by a pleasant lunch.
