I think Sun is on a one way street, at the end turn left, follow any signs for Famagusta. You should eventually come to the dual carriage way that runs north of Nicosia. Turn right (following Famagusta signs). Keep on this until you come to the Ercan airport junction, then follow signs to Izkele. Just past the village of Gecitkale there is a petrol station, turn left there. This road takes you over the mountain to Tatlisu. It takes about 45 minutes from cental Nicosia.

Maybe you should consider heading towards Girne bearing right at main roundabout on outskirts and head east towards essentepe past golf course on to Tatlisu may be quicker.

Newlad I meant Ercan I flew with the family to Lanarca last time but we did not enjoy the taxi ride with the taxi driver eating, driving and using his mobile phone. The border restrictions on max euro purchases form the north are also a nuisance. In future its Ercan for me unless the other airport gets developed.

Its definitely quicker to cross the mountain at Geticale, rather than go to Girne first. it will take over an hour to go via Girne.

Hi Rocky

I get excellent service from Sun with collection from Ercan. Good prices with a discount for property owners of 20/25%.

Talk to Enver at info@sunrentacar.com he is a very helpful guy.

Thankyou sunnyday for directions to Tatlisu via Ezkele. Your instructions were spot on. Picked up our hire car at Sun Hire Nicosia. We had a lovely time, just arrived back home yesterday worse luck.
