Does anyone know how much car extra insurance you are charged to bring a hire car from the south into Northern Cyprus? How easy is it to cross the border and which is the best border crossing? Cheers

I am fairly sure these figures are accurate



1-3 days - 20Euro

1 month - 25 "

3 months - 45



It is fairly simple to cross over (either way).

As to which crossing is best? It will be dependant on where you are coming from/going to.

We were charged 35 euros for one months insurance in May this year
