Hi, could anyone please tell me are there any shops in Town that sell wool, patterns etc., I havn`t done any knitting for years but feel like taking it up again. Although I`m in the U.K. at the moment where there are several shops which sell it I would rather use my local shops in Kyrenia than over here. Thanks.

Wool isn't a problem here with a couple of excellent shops in Girne.



If you come down the High Street to the crossroads turn left and walk along until you see a couple of steps on your left leading into a row of shops the first one is there and is excellent.



The other one I know of is again down the High street to the crossroads go straight through and it is about 6 or 7 shops along on the left.



Knitting patterns are another thing I have never managed to find them in English in 6 years so better to bring from the UK.

If you have a PC in NC then you can download lots of knitting patterns for free, I find they are expensive now.

We were given a copy of a DVD with shed loads of patterns on... I could burn you a copy if you want, Only cost, a small donation to the Marine Turtle project...

Two good wool shops in the pedestrian area from the mosque to the crossing also excellent button shops there

It Mrs W that does the knitting I just sit and wait whilst she chooses no" english" patterns though

I'm happy to buy one of your Disks (I know someone who will use it) and I am prepared to duplicate it and distribute it over on this side for you - proceeds to the Marine Turtle project.

I think that the disks only cost me about 50Kr, so if there are only a few takers, I'll donate 'em FOC

If there's bloody HUNDREDS of 'em, I would really need to deduct the net cost of the disks from the revenue
