It's hard to gauge here sometimes although I have bumped into quite a few "agents" in the last 2 months who will tell you that things aren't too bad but the real vibes I am picking up is that things are alot worse than they like to admit.





I'm amazed that the UK property market has held up so well although I am starting to see different signs to what is being reported in the media.

The major reason they are "giving" them away is down to the property tax that is liable year on year which could be a s much as $4,000 a year.



If squatters move in then the house get trashed then the banks are liable for the clean up & demolition that can stem from this so the banks want these liabilities off their books as soon as.



What is scary is that we brits find it hard to imagine real estate as being worthless or even a liability.
