Bought one once in Atakara, and was sure they were in Lemar. But would not swear to it. Trouble is that many commodities come and go, and you have to wait for the next ship to come in.

Hi Andrew I also used to look everywhere in TRNC and could never find a nailbrush so used to get people to bring them over from the UK. Now I am back living in the uk am surprised how difficult it is to find nail brushes here too! Managed to find some in a small pharmacy in the village where we live. Wonder when they went out of fashion? Anyway, if you reply to this you will be on your way to your fifth gold star.......TRACEY

Use a short length cut off from the brush-type draught excluder used on the base of doors - they have quite stiff bristles - ya should be able to make about 50, or so, 'nail brushes' out of one length - dip 'em in a pot of 'Orange' hand cleaner first - that'll save you a whole heap of scratching and scrubbing and carrying on! I haven't found 'Orange' (the best!) in the North - but Homebase sell it - tho' pricey, definitely worth the investment, as it also contains pumice granules and so removes all 'nasties', paint, diesel (+ smell!), oil, tar, epoxy glue, etc., and the bonus is, you'll come up smelling of orange blossom! Your only problem then is: you may have to fend off the odd 'Poofter'!
