For the past week i've been unable to get ITV it comes up as a technical problem. Is anyone experiencing this and is their a solution, can I re-tune the frequency??? Or alternatively does anyone know if I can get ITV on my internet. I really missed my Dancing on Ice last night!!!

Cheers

There has been a problem but you can usually get it on Border or Wales channel you should have them all in 'other Channels'

You can receive all ITV channels plus BBC, Channel4, Channel5 and other channels on http://www.filmon.com

You cannot receive TV properly on your PC unless you have at least 1meg Broadband.

When you go to the site you will be asked to download the interface. Just follow the instructions and you should be Ok.

All of the above channels are free and you can get other channels as Pay per view.

Hope this helps.

Dear Blakey

which ITV are you trying to watch ?

If you subscribe to SKY - even bottom package - you SHOULD get ITV and C4 using this method..

Please try this:

For C4

Go to Services. Four, Four ( add chnls) and SELECT

enter freq 12480 - no need to change anything else..

then do down to

FIND CHANNELS and press select

place a tick by what you find - using the yellow button

Then go to Services, Other channels and hopefully you have C4, More 4,

E4, etc !!!!

Please NOTE - you DO need a SKY sub for this to work, too !

Try this for ITV.. should be stronger ?!

as above- but freq 12402

Let me know ....

I live in Malta and for us to get all the English channels on the Internet we use http://www.missmysoaps.com it changes your ip address to the UK one and lets you watch anything live. it costs us £6.00 a month and i have tried a few but this is the best and most reliable.

Hi Mark

Tried doing what you suggested with the frequency 12.402 but when i went to other channels none of them came up. I no longer subscribe to Sky but until recently I had no problem getting terrestrial tv from UK. Can still get BBC and channel 4 it's only ITV that appears to have a problem for the past week.

Any further suggestions.

Blakey,

what aboyt trying to add channels with freq:11973

Polarity : V

Symbol rate :27500

Fec : 2/3

You'll only need to change the freq under 'add channels'

BUT..

if the search works and those channels ARE found you defo need a subscription.. I don't know if a FTV card will open them.. :(

From April 2nd those of you who have Sky HD will have a new programme added to your Electronic Programme Guide......

ITV HD is coming officially to the Sky HD family. So no more fiddling around in the "add extra channels" area. For those in the UK on Virgin Media you'll be getting it too.

Look out for Hallmark HD coming soon as well.

Blakey.

With Out a Sky Card you can still receive ITV 1 Wales, ITV 1 W County and ITV 1 West.

Here is the Frequency for you too Add 10832 - H - 22000 - 5/6 and only obtainable on a 4.2 Metre Dish.

All other ITV 1 Channels are now Encrypt and you would need the New Sky White viewing Card.

on the same transponder that TourGuide refers to you will see a channel 10000 if you try to add channel

This is ITV HD ... this may be why Central S, etc., got moved..

4.2m dish ITV West / Wales 10832 H 22000 5/6

You need a SKY receiver and a valid ( white ) FTV card or a SKY subscription

re 12 TC

Let's HOPE that ITV HD isn't broadcast from Eurobird a 25.5 degrees East - if they did you wo't get in in CY.. :(

As they have begun testing on 10832 H 22.0 5/6 you SHOULD get it on a 4.2m ..
