David Beckham will not be able to play in the 2010 World Cup as he has ruptured his Achilles tendon and will have to undergo surgery.

He's apparently now been flown to Finland for the tricky op on his Achilles tendon.

A champion of football albeit an occasional leg over.

In terms of football and outside his personnel family, the greedy reporters side kick photographers cheap buck.

A boy to now still young 35 and disrupted by an injury that feckin hurts.

Youth academies that he has invested in.

For the youth and the future.

These kid's will be holding there breath, but not long for this champion of soccer.

Football games up and down the road, week in and weekend, require diligent care and attention.

My Brother had his femur snapped as a boy, foot one way, knee the other and Dad never watched my kid's play for many reasons.

Not many like Becham ...... live and breath football.
