Called in to the Corner Bar last night, we were made to feel very welcome, as usual, and Hakki had even bought carnations to give to his lady customers for Mothers Day, what a lovely gesture. The result of the welcome ( even without the flower) means that we will visit again, other bars/restaurants should take note. A smile and a welcome cost nothing.

We go in there regularly now, every Friday and they are undoubtedly some of the loveliest bar staff/owners I have come across...

Coming from Girne, turn left at the Bronze lady and the Corner bar is on your left a few yards ahead.

Yes it is but everyone still refers to it as the Corner bar.
