| Hello Newlad I would'nt take to much notice of this story they are not referencing anybody. To start with there is a long way to go regarding the ECHR judgement and I am sure we will see many twists and turns yet from both sides of how to approach, challenge, agree or wait. There has been no change as I am aware regarding the process of obtaining deeds in the TRNC and until hear some kind of announcement we can only surmise the same rules are in place albeit with it problems in certain instances. | Newlad The article you've posted is UK based and outdated yes there have been issues look on Linctitude Niome Memett legal bit But this has all been superseded by the IPC being recognised http://www.cyprus-mail.com/cyprus/gloom-over-talks-makes-ipc-applications-more-likely/20100314 "Candounas is renowned for spearheading a landmark case that saw British couple Linda and David Orams forced out of a Greek Cypriot property in the north, and he is perhaps the last person one would expect to see applying to the IPC. He is, however, emphatic that since the ECHR ruling, the IPC is now the only place to go." The whole point of the judgement a week last Friday was that an occupier & their family of a property is not made homeless by someone who's family lived there four decades ago But that"refugee " could apply for compensation on their inheritance with the proper proof It in fact makes TRNC title valid for the owner just as strong as pre ,74 continued |

| Because if the refugee goes to the IPC and disagrees with the valuation/ judgement he then must go to the TRNC high court If he then disagrees with that judgement and only then can he go to the EHCR bearing in mind that the IPC has now established benefits /compensation levels that the EHCR have approved it would be difficult to overturn an award of the IPC Judgment if it ever happened would be against the level of award by the IPC with the IPC being told to amend it not to turf out another Orames as they said they donot want to create another raft of refugees The Orames verdict still stands as it pre-dates the IPC But is going forward replaced by the IPC Orames can go to the ECHR on the basis of an unfair trail in the ROC |

| Well I would have a tenner on the Orams being given leave to appeal to the supreme court and then the supreme court setting aside the judgement of the courts of appeal and mr A being told to go through the IPC Just hope that their petition works |
