| I have an oldish laptop which has served me well but has really started to play up. does anyone know or has experienced when you click on a file or folder it highlights the next or adjacent folder. as you can imagine this is really annoying. please dont go down the route of virus, think myself that its something to do with the heatsink or fan or ram any ideas folks? please I have a new laptop but will sell this one on but i would like it running properly before in do. its abit dusty but needs a makeover. thanks martin |

| We need a lap top just to use for connecting with the tv for watching BBC on - intended to maybe buy new one, but if yours is suitable for that after its "makeovr" may be interested. No hurry as back 21st April and will do it then. |

| Hi Not knowing what Os/version you are using, try looking at the folder display options, its possible that this may be set to show 'open folder in new window' and/or 'automatically expand' a folder. GG8 |

| hi greengate its win xp but its rapid jumping between files and folders when selecting a multi choice it goes through the lot very fast so you take pot luk when you click, its like a runaway train out of control |
