Hipps

'Hippo buys them in bulk'

Is that because you lose them or do you sell them on?

Its because he misplaces them (thats what he calls it) and he needs them to hand wherever he is.

And it stops him using mine.

Dear Mike from Lapta. You are of course free to listen to the well-known on line ophthomologists AJ & Hippo. But consider this. Some people go to a real ophthomologist and after an examination of their eyes (after all you need new reading glasses every two years - at our age) get a prescription for the optician. Not as cheap as Mr. Pound, but maybe a bit safer and better for your eyes. Don't forget: an ophthomologist finds different values for each of your two eyes. Kind regards and see you Tuesday - I hope you can still see the backgammon board with Mr. Pound glasses...

Mike, if you and maybe others are looking for a good ophthomologist (reasonable fee):

Op. Dr. S. Deniz Atakan

Tel work: 03928154950

email work: datakan@kktc.net

Private hospital: Celiker Hatahanesi

20 Temmuz Stadum arkasi

Girne

(It's on your left hand when you take the road from the Police Station in Girne in the direction of Zeytinlik)

P.S. Beware: When you ask for a reading glass prescription at another ophthomologist in Girne she always finds that you also have cataract and need to be lasered...

when I first needed glasses for reading, I had my eyes tested and he said the cheap readers were fine as my vision was more or less the same in each eye. So in my case the cheap ones were fine x

DC and all.No I have a good pair of reading glasses in the house, for use with computer/reading.

I'm out a lot with my part-time job,I don't want to take my good pair, and lose them.

Will try Mr Pound today.

Mike
