has anyone else noticed that all the piles of cheap heinz corned beef and nearly all the other brands have gone from the shelves any idea whos got any ?

Just back from Starling (the one nearest Lapta) in Alsancak main road and they have Zwan and Freetrade corned beef on the shelves.

Bektas had only 2 tins of Exeter Corned Beef last week!

When we came here to live in 2004 we had to go south to get things like Bisto, corned beef and even vinegar. So things going of the shelves for a wee while now don't bother us as we know in a few weeks they will reappear.
