Although I don't know, you I really do feel for you.

I could not imagine how I would cope if it had been one of my children.

I do hope that justice will be served on these pieces of scum when they stand trial.

I also hope you and your family eventually find some peace and will be able to look back at the happier times you had when your son was with you.

Kind regards to you and your famly.

Hi Karen

We haven't met but my heart went out to you when I read your post.

My youngest son was attacked on his way home from doing a late shift from work a couple of years ago, 5 or 6 young thugs came on him from behind and knocked him to the ground where the proceeded to kick his head & body, while this was happening two teenage girls videod it on their mobile phones for a 'laugh'! sick or what? Ralph couldn't give much of a description of the cowards that attacked him as he was too busy trying to protect himself from the blows, the police weren't particularly helpful though his wife called 999 no one came to interview him till the following day after he had spent most of the night in Casualty. I agree with you the UK is a horrible, dangerous place to live these days.

My son survived, I'm so sorry yours didn't. I hope you can find some peace amongst friends in Northern Cyprus, I can't even begin to imagine the heartbreak you're going through.

A friend of mine has a mobile dog grooming business here in Northern Ireland and is booked solidly. I would think that judging by the number of dog owners here that you would be successful.

I'm so sorry to hear of your son's murder, like that posts above I send my deepest sympathy. I couldn't possibly comprehend what you must be going through, you must be living a nightmare.

On opening an English bar, judging by the number who are closing I'd think twice about that. You say that you had one before, where was that ? Your names sound familiar.

Best wishes for whatever you choose to do.

Karen how terrible for you.I had to read it twice to make sure I had read it correctly. To move back to England and have that happen, is your worst nightmare. I think a lot of us forget about the terrible crime in England. We have got used to the calme way of living here. I also recognize your name of Kaz, how long ago did you move back.

Come back to Cyprus where it might have some strange ways, but at least you will feel safe here. Do think carefully before taking on another bar though, as so many are closing. Stella

There is a mobile groomer here now, so you would not be the first.

Very difficult coming back and picking up the pieces, but I hope you do well.

it seem to have changed a lot in two years over there , as when i was there i was the only dog groomer on the island , so things are looking up , i was always booked up . and i couldn't keep up with them all , so all your comment mean so such to me thank you all so much again , the only reason i went back home was because of my son , as his father was killed in a car accident , through no fault of his own , and we as planing to bring my son back with us , i just cant believe that just in two years that all this has happened in my life . i hope to see you all soon regards karen

I have to agree with you about the state of the UK now. It has been going downhill for years. There is little respect for anyone or anything, and crime just seems to get worse and worse. We can only visit our TRNC haven a couple of times a year. We wish we could retire over there, but our family would not be able to come with us and I cannot leave them behind.

Karen - I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot start to imagine how hard it is for you every day, but I hope there will be some comfort for you when the scum are convicted.
