So, its all over for another year. Despite the grey skies and a bit of drizzle what a brilliant Gold Cup race yesterday. The biggest upset of course was the shock fall by odds-on favourite, Kauto Star, 4 from home which left just 2 horses to slug it out - Denman & Imperial Commander. In the end the stronger and better horse won and so Imperial Commander claimed the Cup with Denman a gallant 2nd.

In another earlier thread on this subject I had tentatively suggested that interested members consider both Denman and Imperial Commander when laying bets. So, are there any happy punters amongst you ??? With final odds of 7-1 and 4-1 respectively on the first 2 places surely somebody must be planning a good meal out tonight ??!! (Incidentally, I never bet with real money and just enjoy the craic !).
