Thought Id share some info a local gave me who has a shop in Catalkoy but doesnt stock the large coloured plastic dustbins. He said they are made from a hard plastic which will break in the hot sun, whilst the smaller greener ones are made of a softer plastic and last a lifetime.

Smaller ones are also easier to clean.Our neighbours have a big one and it really smells horrible when u walk past it.
