I am about 3 months old and was about to end it all in the next couple of days. I had just about had enough of what life had dealt me, my back leg so painful I just couldnīt use it, which meant finding my evening meal was all but impossible. Then just as I was getting ready to give it all up a small group of ladies who were taking a break at the seaside caught a glimpse of me, hunted my breakfast, gave me a wash and a little cuddle and renewed my faith in the kindness of humans. They even cut short their break to take me to see the doctor and then we all travelled back to Girne. So again I feel like I have become that happy little puppy I started out to be just 3 months ago. OK so I am a little skinny now and still have a bit of a limp but you just watch me grow into a loveable faithfull companion. My only problem with life now is that unfortuantely for me the ladies that showed me so much love have already homed other adorable dogs like me and are not in a position to keep me very long. I dont want to go back to the streets, I want a friend who I can call my best friend and who I can keep and love for life. I know there has to be someone who wants me out there, please help me find them. Kismet, or whatever you feel my name should be

Hi sunshinedays I wish you all the luck in the world with your task to find a loving home, but I have found that on this site when anything is posted regards helping animals out you don't get much interest if any at all, I think at time some people are so cold hearted they just look on poor souls like yourself as just an animal so it doesn't matter, people forget that a cat or dog can give you much more love and fun than you would ever get from a human being. If things get to bad for you I am sure that the kind hearted guys up at the kyrnia animal rescue would take you in along with the hundreds of dogs they already care for. Maybe you title should have said effes you might have had more response.

Hi Kismet -I really hope you find the loving home you deserve. I am a little kitten who has been called Simba (like in the Lion King apparently!) and I was found stumbling across a road - just as a car came speeding down it - I was very lucky that my new pets were driving down at the same time. I was the 'runt' of my litter and very, very small, with lots of infections, but my pets took me to this (not very nice man) who gave me lots of injections and I am now growing - although I'm not as big as some other cats I have seen! My pets would love to have a dog like you - you're just what they want, but at the moment they live in an apartment and they don't have room - I was lucky and I hope you will be too. Simba ps. My pet's name is livethedream - I sure am!!!

Hi Simba, Livethedream and Simbas Thanks for the kind words and Simba I am really glad you found some good pets to take care of you. I was due to have an operation to mend my broken leg on Monday, but as it has healed it is going to a bit of a do to sort it out and so the lady that has been looking after me had decided to put back the date so that she can build up my strength and give me a better chance to get through the op. I know her situation will not allow her to take on another pet but I am secretly hoping she finds a way, or if not that someone as nice as her comes for me. Kismet

Kismet - your lady sounds very kind, I'm sure that if no-one else can find room for you that you have already melted her heart enough so she lets you stay. Good luck with your operation, perhaps you could let us know how you get on. Simba (not to be confused with that nice lady Simbas!)

Hi Hopefully the magic spell has worked cos there have been some very tender and caring smiles comming my way the past few days, please keep your fingers crossed. If my feelings are correct and if anyone was considering adopting me maybe one of my doggy friends that also need homes could take my place. Just looking at some of the posts there are lots of us out there who are just looking for Best Friends. Guess what, I gained my strength a lot quicker than expected and have had my op. Not sure if I like the pins sticking out of my leg or the very heavy cast around it but Iīm sure once they are removed I will feel far better than I have for many weeks. A really big thank you to all you wonderful people who took such a kindly interest in me. Kismet the Pup xxx

Kismet, I'm so happy for you. My pets are going on holiday soon, but I've met my foster pet, and she seems really nice. I'm so glad that your operation went well, and it won't be long until you can chase your tail! Simba xx
