hi can anyone help im trying to get hold of a wooden filing cabinet 3dr if poss if anyone has an old one they want to donate and also need a old boat something like the one just before the golden lady on the left it any cond is fine as it is for a play area for the kids to play in must not be big then they can paint it and have fun so if there is any old boats out there that are no longer fit for the water and can be donated it would be a lovely suprise for them this summer many thanks if you can help then please reply to cacebaby@hotmail.com thank you

its not a charity but for a cafe that i use a lot and so many children go there to play i thought it would be nice if i could get some things to make it more nice for the kids

Just a thought.......

Have you thought about going down to the harbour in Girne and asking some of the boat owner's if they know anyone who might have an old boat no longer sea worthy?



I also know someone who might be able to give you some leads, I will ring him tomorrow and post any updates.

A couple of years ago we came across some young mainland Turks who had converted a bathtub into a boat. They had those big yellow canisters tied to the side, it actually worked as we watched them fishing from the bay next to Aphrodite restaurant. Couldn't you do something like this for the kids it might be easier to find an old bathtub rather than a boat.
