Ian Huntley could be in line for 20,000 pounds in compensation after he allegedly had his throat slashed in prison, in county durham. his injuries are not said to be life threatening. The alleged attacker is reported to have said I did it for Holly and Jessica, and wish I had done a better job.

This bastard is far more suited for a life of continuous reminders of his crimes, threats, attacks and bodily harm. Lets hope it continues for the rest of his sorry life and an extended one at that, hanging would be the easy way out for him. Not sure how £20,000 or even £1,000,000 is going to make his life any better.

with his two live sentances how the hell could he spend it, his girlfriend has a lovely new life, whilst the parents of holly and jessicia live in turmoil, kill the bxxxxxd, i hope to god someone will bring old fashioned values back and not pc. x

What equally sickens me is that his girlfriend got just a couple of years and is then freed to be funded by the state for the rest of her life. The taxpayer coughs up for her year round protection and a new identity each time a newspaper gets close.
