I must share this information with you reg my experience with my optician shop today. Having lost my single vision sunglasses recently, I decided to visit the shop that made my varifocal glasses recently, thinking that I would probably get a good deal pricewise, FAT CHANCE! tthe best price they could come up with was £165! As I was scraped up off the floor after feinting with shock, I Told them to stick the price where the sun doesn't shine! I have just ordered a better pair online via an english company who couldn't have been more helpful for £45 delivered to A UK address within 3 days. luckily for me a neighbour comes out on monday and will bring them over with him. A very relieved and not ripped-off Nick. (not the negative one!)

The best place here for glasses is Canada Optik near Astro supermarket. I bought a pair of prescription sunglasses in designer frame last year for 200tl. The are very friendly and helpful. Blakey

I thought you couldn't bring fake designer stuff in to the country - don't the customs authorities confiscate imitation stuff? I'm asking because I was wondering about buying some things on the internet that are advertised as replicas but am wondering what the customs take is on this? Thanks.
