Hi

Any one know of any squash courts near Girne? time to start doing some fitness, and what way better than running around like a nutter with a raquet trying to hit a wee Blue ball.....whilst running in to walls and getting friction burns from the wooden floor...o what fun...

i m making this post sticky for a few days. coz i want to know if there is any in kyrenia too.

i researched this a year ago and Jasmine Court Hotel and Rocks Hotel has one, but they won't let you play if you do not sign up for an expensive monthly gym fee.

i loved playing squash when i stayed 4 years in the states!

M.E.T.U the university en route to Guzelyurt has squash courts and I recall an advert in the Cyprus Today I think asking for members to join.

As goonerstan mentioned this is not the usual time of year to be looking to play squash and if you are not fit it can kill!

Any one know of any squash courts in North Cyprus?

I called Rocks and they told me that they closed it down recently.

I called Mercure and Jasmine, but they don't have.

Any one?

Much appreciated Graham.

I did read some pages about squash on METU's website, but the link you send is much better.

There is actually a tournament on 20 December.

For guests, monthly membership is 120 YTL but that includes everything in the complex. They have a nice running track above the multi-purpose courts!

P.S. I will would like to know if there are any other places besides METU to play squash. Driving to METU from Kyrenia will take at least 40 minutes!

Hi,

My husband plays squash at the Eastern University which is on the way to Guzelyert. They play on Tuesdays Fridays and Sundays as long as there are enough players. My husband will also go anytime if you want a game.
