To bring a vehicle from th UK to NC

I have just read all the Q & A to proger1 about bringing a vehicle to NC Can any one be 100% and tell me how to bring a car from the UK. How long can you run the car on its UK plates, tax etc. When you say it as to go out of the country, after a period of time, does that mean you can take it south, and then bring it back. Or does it have to leave the island all together. The reason been, some people say that the TRNC is not recognized as a country. But we do recognize it as our country, so to leave our country by just going over the border, is that a way out from taking the car back to the UK. I hope some one can give me a short and sweet answer,

I don't think a short and sweet answer exists unfortunately. A lot depends on your personal circumstances, i.e. whether you are resident or a visitor, whether you have brought in a container of stuff, etc. I think the best bet is to go to Customs in Lefkosa with your log-book and ask them to advise you.
