Is anybody having trouble like we are getting their post?? I am still waiting for Mothers Day Cards and Birthday cards!! I have spoken to the BRS and said the talks are still ongoing although it seems to have gone quiet, but surely by now this should have been sorted,we received a letter yesterday which was registered, so maybe we should tell everyone to register, but just the envelope cost seven pounds 95p.. expensive way to receive post!!

Since the last incident the post has never been better. Mothers day cards 5 days from UK,

Magazines & papers 8 days.

No complaints there.

What I find simply amazing is that the letters from HM Inspector of Taxes always manage to arrive!

We are still waiting for a small parcel to arrive which was sent eight weeks ago and a letter sent on 15 February both from the UK. We live in Girne and have our mail delivered by the postman. I have asked at the post office about the parcel but they don't have it. Where does this stuff go?

I can tell you where some went to recently.

Correspondence from my bank in UK, posted on 26th February 2010, arrived here on 22nd March via -

PAKISTAN according to the rubber stamp on the envelope.

That suggests the incompetence of those involved in changing post from one plane to another in Turkey.

Time has come for the postal authorities to get that sorted, missing cards from loved ones is bad enough, but losing out on business mail is unacceptable as it usually costs, and what do you get when you report it, the usual stupid shrug of the shoulders.
