The price of flights to Cyprus allways seems too high - this May/June I was thinking of getting a cheap holiday to Alanya, then taking the Ferry Alanya-Girne.

Has anyone done this?

Only problem seems to be everything is for 2 weeks max, 3 weeks would give a few days in Turkey either end, a fortnight in the TRNC....

Done it a few years back, 6-7 hours on the ferry which almost sunk a few times, worst journey of my entire life

so I would personally catch a flight, regardless of cost..
