The owners of the Midsummer House Restaurant have decided to open their tennis court to the public. The Midsummer House Tennis Club will be holding an open day on Sunday April 4, 10am to noon. While enjoying free morning coffee and cakes, you will have an opportunity to see the facilities available and find out about membership to the club.



The tennis court will be open Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm and on Sundays 10am to 6pm, membership will cost 100TL for one year and will include use of the swimming pool and 10 per cent discount from the restaurant. The court will also be available to non-members at 10TL an hour. All funds raised will all go towards the upkeep of the court and for providing racquets and balls if needed.

Directions: drive through Catalkoy village past Dedeman Olive Tree Hotel and the Midsummer House and Tennis Club is further up on your left, it is well sign posted

Are the restaurant facilities open during the day, and will racquet hire be available? Sounds like a good idea - will be up to see you on the 4th

The restaurant is open from 10am - 11pm, they are offering morning coffee and afternoon tea. So it is great to have a game of tennis, a swim and then maybe a light lunch with a well deserved glass of wine.

Racquets and balls will be available to hire, this will be good for holiday makers who might want to come for a one off game. Look forward to see in you there on the morning of the 4th.

This place sounds amazing and can't wait to give it a try when we are next over in May. Have read great reviews about the food/restaurant.

Yes we have a Russian tennis coach who speaks perfect English, he will be available for tennis coaching for adults and for children. He charges hourly, I am not sure of his costs yet but will let you know. He will be there at our open day on Sunday morning if you want to come along and chat to him. Hope you can make it.

Hi Bernie, im over middle of may,would love a game or two when im over,i will have to borrow/hire racket though,i was a pretty good club player many moons ago.I only play a few times a year now but it would be good to have the option of a game or two each time im over(3 or 4 times a yr).

That would be great Mark, you can hire racquets, they don't cost anything but you have to leave a deposit. I am sure there will be people who will happy to have a game with you, you sound too good for me. Contact me when you are over 0533 849 2743.

The tennis club is in Catalkoy. We do not have a specific email address or website but you can email the membership secretary on sarahpollitt@gmail.com. We do have a facebook page. Search under Midsummer House Tennis Club.
