Turned up when they said they would, did what they said they would & I this was value for money.

Charged me £2500 for a 20' container back to UK which is about 6 presses of a keypad for a bank lol

Fantastic service yet again

Thanks Hurmus & Olaytrans

Really? Glad you have had good experiences.

However, they 'lost' all of my goods. Said they would not rest until they found them.

They are, of course, no longer interested in what happened to them. First, I was told that they had gone to UK by accident on the way to Germany. Then I was told that they were on their way direct to Germany.

Lastly, I was told that they had accidentally landed-up in France, and would be delivered to me in Germany on a specific date.

Finally, they admitted that they had not the foggiest idea what had happened, but true to TRNC form, blamed a 'former employee'.

I suspect they were actually stolen from Famagusta.

Well they've just dealt with bringing my things here. Everything was well organised and delivered (eventually!), although there were a lot of things broken, but I can't blame them for that. They tell me they've told the insurance company who are supposed to get in touch, we'll see how long that takes.

I can't complain about the service from Olaytrans, apart from the fact that my phone bill must be much higher than theirs because they never return any phone call - and I'm not sure what they're saving on internet costs cos they rarely reply to e-mail questions either! But I'm beginning to think that's just the Turkish 'way'!

Dee, message 5, far worse than that are the things that can never be replaced, like photos of your kids growing up.

And other personal items that are irreplaceable, like family books from past generations.

Furniture is replaceable, although there was not much furniture involved.
