0533 8751157 Alsancak

Been in there once a week, 3 times running now to eat at 6pm. Wanted to say that they do not just do kebabs but a good choice of starters...soup, garlic bread, scampi, calamari, garlic mushrooms, prawn cocktail.

Fish menu. 7 salads. 11 Pides! 7 kebaps. (the pastas will be available at the beginning of the season).

I dont own the place, but have been there often and can vouch for Lost and Found`s comments. All I can

say is Kemal is still turning out great food only difference being that he now works for himself. There`s always a very warm welcome from them all.

Tried Kingston Kebabs the other night for a takeaway. Don't think they'll be giving B & I Fast Foods in Alsancak any sleepless nights!

Im out Lapta way every Tuesday and Wednesday and could not find anyone serving food at 6pm. It seems bars either have darts or something and dont cook on Tuesdays or I turn up somewhere and they say the chef is not here. Im very happy I discovered K.Kebabs.

they'll have to do well to beat Gullen kebab in Girne - Garry Monger's bestest and favouratest Kebaks in the whole wide world....

Totally agree about Gulen - brilliant. Based on praise here I tried Kingston but 4 pieces of gristle and some soggy lettuce are no comparison to the succulent feast that is a Gulen. For me it's 4 km to Kingston and 20km to Gulen but worth the extra journey without a doubt.

Jovial John you sure you went to the right place, Kingston Kebabs in Alsancak does not put lettuce in their Wraps or 4 pieces of gristle does not sound like anything they sell.

The place I went was the old Pizza King on the main road approx. opposite Starlings and it is definitely called Kingston Kebab. Maybe I was taking a liberty with the lettuce, but there was very little salad and I am certain there were only 4 smallish pieces of lamb and not one of the 4 was free of gristle - ask the cats by the rubbish bin. What is more I had asked for a doner kebab but I got a shish wrap. Maybe they don't do doner but they might have told me. I didn't open it until I came out of Hos Bes and it wasn't worth driving back because it looked exactly like a Gulen so I thought I would enjoy it - sadly not.

I have been to Kingston and had good food and service. If you are in the Lapta/Karsiyaka area another excellent choice is the Park Cafe at Karsiyaka Square. The food is excellent and served until late. Reasonable prices too and a nice bar.
