Mersin10 They certainly do get fed, every day in town centre and down by the water front in particular. Then about an hour or so before dusk they arrive back with us to settle onto the roofs for the night, after they have a drink from the pool of course. They always leave a little something for us though, how thoughtful of them............Dirty Bast***s!!!!!!!!!!!!! Compass

i think the spikes only work on the likes of windowcills . on a roof they will just land behind them

I have a plug-in thing which is used to keep insects, spiders etc away. I used to live iin a house which had lots of pigeons and once, by mistake, I switched it onto the ultra-sonic option and the pigeons went mad and all flew away!! I felt so bad about it that I never did it again!! My cats don't like the ultra-sonic either.

hi, we used to have same problem in my previous apartment, they bought a special liquid, looks like a glue, and sprayed it on the roof, near the water tanks etc, it really worked. they told me that they got it from the south. good luck

Firstly a gun is no good. Even if you have a licence and join the hunting Federation - both prerequisites for shooting anything living - the hunting season applies to pigeons and it is finished now for this year. It may sound stupid but the best way I have found is to blow up and pop a paper bag just as they are coming in to settle for the night. Find the right bag and you get a good loud bang and with a bit of vigilance for a week they soon find somewhere else to settle for the night. Labour intensive but it works.

Get the MC to extract herself from said office chair and go stand out in the grounds, that'll be enough to scare the s*** out of 'em
