This weekend's Australian Grand Prix could yet be an exciting affair, but not because of sudden rule changes or improved performances from the chasing pack.

It could be all down to the weather as rain is predicted in Melbourne.

Local hero Mark Webber tongue-in-cheekly suggested earlier last week that the only way to spice things up after a boring race in Bahrain is wet conditions.

So from cortege to some excitement .....? Maybe....

bahrain was boring but I am a great F1 fun things will get exciting and interesting, you can't win or loose championship from one race but you can see not going to be one horse race.

Re: Msg 10,

Dear No1 Doyen,

I am soooooo pleased......

Is it possible?

Change of heart? Even if JB's current standing is 12/1 and Hamilton's 5/1?

(Alonso : 9/4, Schumi : 20/1 - for our foreign viewers)

Meanwhile Lewis is somewhat preoccupied :

"Lewis Hamilton has had his Mercedes road car impounded and is expected to be charged with improper use of a vehicle following an incident in Melbourne on Friday, Victoria Police have confirmed." .....

A very large number of the Victoria Police force are under investigation for sending racist emails on the National computer to each other, their views were made pretty clear so I pose the question, does Lewis Hamilton's skin colour fit in with the aryan race? Look at white Australian history, a bunch of bigoted, racist, self-serving lazy ex-convicts!

The whole thing is a stitch up.

Brinsley,

Maybe they don't like the idea of a 'coloured boy' driving around in a car far better than anything they will ever own? Especially showing-off in it to boot...

Kudos to Lewsi, loosing traction in a Merc of the type he has takes some doing!

Joyless bunch of racist thugs...

Dear Bill

re msg 10

I hope you put your money where your mouth was...

I'd never have put JB to win... He got the call right for tyres and and other things went his way.. STILL disappointed that a fast car can't pass a much slower one .

Did any one note the comment by Martin Whitmarsh about Red Bull having a ride height adjustment for qualie ?

Re: Msgs 23, 25 & 27,

Dear No1Doyen,

Congratulations! You must be rich by now! Your change of heart was very wise. And JB truly deserves it.

Dear Rigsby,

God needs a good talking to!!! Before the race he said: "I am not a magician." Yes, he is God!!!!!

Dear m x6,

Yes, Martin Whitmarsh initially announced a protest to the FIA about Red Bull, but now wants to upgrade themselves hopefully in time for China.

On the whole the race was more animated than the previous one. I've managed not to fall asleep!
