Just returned from a lovely week in Kibris at TBV - lovely weather, good food - local and

Sunday lunch at Guido's was super. Met up with some old and new friends. Returning back

through Stansted we had a wait of nearly 7 hrs. for our flight to Glasgow. We had coffee, lunch

etc. passed the time. I went to check my bank a/cs at atm and left the card in the machine!

Didn't miss it until I went on line at home next morn to find £100 missing from my a/c. Minutes

after I saw this, and we were going over the events, call from Essex police at Ststd. to say they had

my card & the £100 after apprehending someone. He will be in court next month, thanks to the

moneycall team girls who actually followed & challenged him. Well done them, and the police also.

Phyllis.

That is what Mark McManus would have called 'a result'... Not often that a crime has such a fast turnaround in favour of the victim. Let's hope there is no legal technicality on which he does a 'Houdini'.... The defence team are bound to argue that you tempted him!

Great to see you too, and can't wait to be back. At least nightmare only lasted few mins. when they phoned!

and Groucho Yes, I did compliment them and trying to email the moneycall girls as DC said it was them

who were quick off the mark (he must have been under suspicion) He tried to tell them he "found" the money

left in the machine. Never in my life have I done that (am not half Scots for nothing!) and have receipts to

show it was an enquiry only as had drawn money earlier. A while since I tempted anybody..! lol
