Thanks I bought those - which are good for getting to large areas ..... it is when I get there that i get lost. Someone always directs me ( very friendly ) but feel i should be more independent. the longer I live here I suppose I eventually will know my way about - like anywhere new !

RE msg 2, Harold2555: (...) Hans Hans Doeleman (...)

=> Come on, Harold. One Hans is enough...

=> The new version 2.0 of my map (100 cm wide * 90 cm high) is much more detailed than version 1.0 (including a grid to find all towns and villages, with Turkish and former Greek names in the legend, fast by name and number). I'm trying to find out the exact locations and shapes of the roundabouts on the new bypass and hope to be ready by the end of next week. The maps will be personalised with probably the name of the buyer and in any case a number against piracy. The map can be downloaded from a web page which I'll announce later. The map is digital so can be printed (Magic Touch in Girne and Lefkoşa usually does a good job) in a format up to 10 * 9 metres! For rooms with real big walls...

I think Denise1947 means including road names plus an index of these names linked to a grid system
