Can anyone please tell me when you sell a house in North Cyprus are you charged any tax on sale? Also does anyone have the name of a reliable and trustworthy solicitor/lawer to oversee transaction. Thanks.

I dont beleive you have to instruct a advocate to oversee the sale of a property, it is for the buyer to do this, also every private individual has a once in a lifetime tax free sale option.

If you do not have the deeds in your name you will be liable for capital gains tax. You are only tax free on your first sale if the deeds are in your name.
