That sounds great Cooper, but unless the PTP process is radically speeded up, then this will not be possible.

I've been waiting 27 months so far........

But a good idea..

McSteviet .

Have you contacted PTP personally . We did and it had come through . Don't trust your solicitor to inform you double check yourselves . Hope this helps !!!

We had the same as message 5. Went to the office and was shown that our ptp had come through and we then told our solicitor who didn't know!

We also have our deeds now to and it is pre74 land as well, which shows they are giving deeds out for Turkish Title/pre74 land!

I am only confirming what msg 5 & 6 are saying.

We, too in fact, found out that our ptp was issued 3 weeks before our solicitor did and ours was supposed to check once a week.

What effect will this have on buyers who have taken possession and are just about to start the transfer process.

Are there any benefits.?

At the moment the builder can still refuse to transfer the deeds even if you take then to court.

Will the new proposals help the people who are in dispute with their builder and are being black mailed .?

Thanks
