We need to seal cable box on a roof area to protect from driving rain which has caused water penetration . What can we seal it with as the box is also in direct line with the scorching sun . It would have to be a very flexable sealent to allow for expansion any recommendations please ?

Speak to the staff at Marshalls, they have the correct sealant for you. I forget the name of it byt if you explain what you want they definitely have it.

If bringing it from UK then ask for a Low Modulus silicon sealant. This is formulated for outside us around windows etc and is resistant to sunlight degrdation. If you buy High Modulus silicon that is for inside use and will not perform as well outside in direct sunshine.

Polyurethane sealants such as SIKAFLEX 221 are far more durable than silicon sealents. More expensive but will stand the test of time.
