I am not very good with computors, But I must thank this company I have found them very helpful, and reasonable,



I would reccomend them, You computor experts will probably shoot me down in flames, This is just my opinion.

You are right JohnnyLee. I have known the lovely Leila for about 10 years now and have always gone to her for all my computer probs, questions etc. The only complaint I have is that there is little parking where they are now - before it was much better, but I understand this is their own building.



Great, kind, helpful and nice people. I haven't found anyone else to beat them.

Laconic Comuters in Alsancak/Lapta is great, but not sure where you mean MarieB, as there is plenty of parking. It's on one of those litle run of shops set off the road with their own parking, before Guido's coming from Lapta. actually it still is in Lapta, I forget the guys name, but he speaks perfect English and is always very helpful. Go every month for my 3G, and bought a very cheap printer/scanner from him. Highly recommended.

Laconic are also in Girne near to Hurdeniz. Parking is not easy and have to agree with earlier posts that the service is second to none and their charges are reasonable.

They have a branch in Alsancak, and one in Girne, if you live Lapta way, they will transport your PC or whatever to Girne, and normally get it back to Aslancak very quickly.



They also sell some usfeful little power stabelisers, about 75 lira, and other gadgets , battery back ups etc.

Yea, I meant the one in Girne where the workshops are and where they have a bigger selection of stuff for sale. The Alsancak one is ideal for renewing dongles etc, but I always go to town where the parking is abysmal but I struggle on because the owners who work at the town branch are based there. Sorry I forgot the Alsancak one when writing.

=> Bargain? Very expensive for illegal software (which by the way can be downloaded from the Internet for free!). You'd better hope and pray that this "pirated bargain" doesn't include some malware..! And it'll be interesting to see what happens when you try to update both programs or try to install service packages from Microsoft...
