Need info on Residency Renewal

Hi

I applied for residency last year and my (first) renewal is now due.. Do I need the same docs that I did last year and what is the procedure? Help!

Go to police station in Girne and on the door of office tells you what you need. But as far as i can remember the documents are the same

My partner has just done it (renewed).



Docs needed for first part at Girne Police are:



Photocopy of passport (the picture bit)

2 X Passport Photos

1 X Photocopy of Bank statement

Muhtars letter (orginal, so you have to get a new one)

House sale contract, title deeds or rental agreement (photocopy)



Go early 8 -8:30 am she was in and out in 5 mins

You dont need 2 passport photo's for renewing but you do need photocopy of of the previous stamp they put in your passport.You also need to take the pink booklet you got when you originally applied.

Oh and you have to make sure you contract-rental agreement has been stamped by the tax office.

As of 10:15 yesterday you need;



Copy of passport picture page.



Copy of previous passport residency stamp.



Copy of local bank card. (both sides)



Copy of contract.



Copy of contract page with stamp duty seal.



Original Muhtar form.



Pink or blue thingy with photo.



Police take photo`s you do not need to supply your own.

Hi All



I have been to the police station today and the info from newscoop is correct except that you need a new Muhtar letter not the original one.



I forgot to ask the police if they keep the copy of the stamped contract in which case we need one each or is it just for reference seeing as they had it last time?



Advice would be appreciated.

Yes they keep your copy contract everytime. And of course one each!!! So book two trees to fell every year for at least 6 years!



We had a problem with ours and when we went to get the original copy from solicitor to photo he could not believe that this was the case. I will delete the expletives he used!!!!!!

When I said original I meant not a copy. As things stand you will require a Muhtar form every year.
