I have just watched this match and it was absolutely awful..

Surely Burnley are down now. You can't blame Owen Coyle for leaving when he had the chance.

Look at Birmingham's gates early season and last season the fans had had enough of SuGo and voted with their feet even in a promotion season

Back to Burnley we will miss the 4-6 points that we usually take off them

But they have a fantastic support per head of population and have lived within their means well done

Its a pity that the rest of the premiership and English football don't

The wages and fees are obscene and amount to "financial doping"

i.e using Money to buy success if it were EPO effodrenine or Blood product but because they spend more than they earn its allowed

Sorry about the money rant but when the benefactor/sucess goes the bills are still have the Walker Trust found a buyer yet?

The Clarets have tried their best this season and have had some hard times to face....losing Coyle must have been a terrible blow...and there have been some harsh refereeing decisions against them...today being a good example...Penalty my a**e!



They probably will go down..but so have quite a few before them who are now finding their way in the PL, Birmingham being a good example.



Today wasn't typical of how they can play...last week against Wigan they were superb, especially in the 2nd half...the goal by Wigan 30 secs from time was so hard to take.



My worry is that some of their best players...Jensen, Mears, Eagles, Patterson etc will get offers from other PL clubs and so will not be in the side next season, making the attempt to bounce back so much harder.



Still, it's never been easy being a Burnley supporter ( as I have since 1966) so we'll take it as it comes.
